Officiant Services

Let Simply Designed Events owner, Katie Meckstroth, serve as your minister for your big day. On select weekends, Katie will serve as a minister only to help you and your spouse make things official. See below for ALL the details.

Officiant Process:

Step 1: Check for date availability here.

I have limited dates available for officiant services, please refer to the calendar before booking initial consultation meeting.

Step 2: Set-up time for an initial consultation (1 Hour).

Discuss Ceremony Style
Learn your story and preferences
Confirm date, pricing, and any expectations

Step 3: Planning Meeting (1 Hour)

Review ceremony structure, vows, and readings
Customize and finalize ceremony script

Step 4: Rehearsal (1 Hour)

I will attend your rehearsal to help with the processional, ceremony outline, and recessional.

Step 5: Ceremony

I will arrive 1 hour before ceremony time and will perform the ceremony
Right after the ceremony, we will complete any needed forms for the marriage license

Step 6: Sending in marriage license

I will have the marriage license after the ceremony, once completed with all necessary information, I will mail it to the correct office.

Pricing:

The total cost is $200. The payment structure is $50 non-refundable deposit to hold the date. $100 due after the planning meeting. $50 due at rehearsal.
